Why Architecture?
"Since I was a child, I have always been fascinated with the structures that surround us every day. I was always drawing up sketches of buildings, designing my own on the computer, or was building physical models. As a grew older, I came to realize the significance of preserving our natural resources and how as humans we are slowly causing the demise of the Earth’s most precious materials and biological organisms. I had finally come to realize that I want to become an architect because I believe that in the world we are living in with global warming and the massive growth in technology, architecture should transition towards an era of sustainability. However, the environment was not the only reason why I chose architecture. I had also learned that architecture represents the stories and cultures of the people that interact with them. "
